God Jul - Merry Christmas!

The second Christmas Card from this weekends crafting, is a Double Building Block Card. I have shared a Building Block Card before, but this was my first attempt at a Double Building Block Card. My "singel" Building Block Card:
Once again I was inspired by Mixed Up Craft, following one of her YouTube Tutorials. The papers are from Etsy, my new favorite place to find downloadable paper. I chose to make a matching belly band to hold the card together:

Christmas!

This weekend I devoted myself to making Christmas Cards. Even though I still find it a tad bit early, I guess it is a good time to get started. I actually made three of them, but I have decided to blog about them all seperately. Today´s post is a 2 Way Double Trifold Card inspired by mixed Up Craft. These days I don´t have the time to watch Sam Calcott´s Facebook Lives, but I know she made this card on a recent FB Live. Luckily for me she is really good at shooting her tutorials fairly soon after the lives, so there is never any problems to see how she makes the cards she makes on her Lives. I have recently started to search for, and purchase paper packs online, and a favorite place has become Etsy where I have found many versatile and most importantly cheap paper packs, perfect for the cards I want to make! I made the card base for this and the other cards I made over the weekend, last weekend, when I was working on a comission for a school friend of mine. Since she didn´t pick this card, I could just pick and choose papers for the card, and since I wanted to make some Christmas Cards, I instantly got a picture in my head of approximately what I wanted the card to look like. From the idea I had, I went paper shopping on Etsy, and I ended up with a lot of different papers. However, since I thought that this card type calls for classy and elegant, I went with some papers and colors I thought fit that brief. Anyway, I am really happy with how this card turned out! To see how to make this card you can have a look at the Mixed Up Craft tutorial:

Spooky👻🎃🕸🕷🧙‍♀️💀🧛‍♂️🧟‍♀️🦇

I have been wanting to make a Double Accordion Card for quite some time now, I just haven´t gotten around to it. However, when I needed to make a Halloween Card for a Facebook Group Challenge I decided that this style of card would be perfect! I had loads of fun putting this card together, although it must be mentioned that I didn´t have a single scrap of Halloween paper when I decided to make a Halloween card. So my newest passion when it comes to choosing papers for my cards, to purchase downloadable papers online, really came in handy for this project! I found loads of great Halloween papers that I could use for this and future Halloween cards! The Double Accordion Card is a style of card that I know Sam Calcott made during one of her Facebook Lives. I didn´t have a chance to follow the Live, but Sam is always really quick in posting a YouTube video tutorial of the cards she makes during the lives, so despite not being able to watch the live, I knew that I could find it online. I will post a link to the tutorial at the end of this post.
Since the Double Accordion Card is a rather big card, it is held together by a matching belly-band. Luckily I have the perfect Embossing Folder for a card like this, a long narrow Embossing Folder with Spider Webs. Perfect!
The back of the card has plenty of room for stamping or writing a personal message. Here is Sam Calcott´s Tutorial for this card:

Easy Fold-Over Cards

Lately I have been hooked on making a simple fold-over card, that you can easily make into a gift card/tag-pocket card. Once again...
