A Rocking Christmas.

Decided to make a Rocker Christmas Card after having seen Claire Rowland of Daisy Mae Design´s example in her Papercraft Society Box 12. I ended up using the hessian ribbon and twine, wooden buttons and a sliver of the patterned paper that was in the box, the rest are papers, stamps and other things that I had in my, by now, rather large selection of card making items. I decided to go with traditional Christmas colors, and added a little bling by attaching some red gems. I also added some Nuvo Aqua Shimmer, Glitter Gloss 882, to give the card a little sparkle. It was a fun card to make, and I am really pleased with how it turned out.

Geometric No Glue Gift Boxes

A couple of weeks ago the Paper Pixie shared some adorable gift boxes that requires no glue. They are not exactly my cup of te to make, as they have some fold lines/score lines that does not fold too easily. But I gave them a try, and I liked them enought to make them in several colors.
They do hold together quite nicely without a fastening mechanism, however, they look a lot better if fastened with for instance a small magnet or velcroe dot.
I varied my decoration on the boxes, made some in a Christmas theme, and some in a floral theme.
I love the look of these boxes! A paper crafting friend of mine even wanted to turn them into small log cabins, as the shape of them clearly suggests this! If you are curious of how to make this box, I have enclosed the Paper Pixie´s tutorial below.

Easy Fold-Over Cards

Lately I have been hooked on making a simple fold-over card, that you can easily make into a gift card/tag-pocket card. Once again...
